SureFire announced the launch of its new G2Z-MV CombatLight in the fall of 2017, designed specifically for use in tactical situations, thanks to its hardy construction and unique design.

The SureFire G2Z-MV CombatLight is constructed from the company's trademark Nitrolon polymer, providing users with a body that's corrosion-proof and designed to withstand impacts, all while providing a durable, dependable light for use in any situation.

The body of the light also features the company's CombatGrip ring, which aids in the SureFire flashlight technique, allowing users to activate the light while keeping two hands in control of a handgun. The ring also works to provide extra security when gripping the light in wet conditions or with gloved hands.

The lens of the flashlight is constructed from polycarbonate in order to further enhance the light's durability and impact-resistance. In addition, the lens window also incorporates special optical coatings that work to improve light transmission.

The LED light is also surrounded by the company's unique reflector design, which creates the company's unique MaxVision beam, providing users with a wide dispersion of light without any hotspots. This ensures that owners have a clear view of their immediate surroundings, eliminating any hiding spaces where surprises can occur.

The SureFire G2Z-MV CombatLight operates through the use of a tailcap switch that, with a single push, floods the area with 800 lumens of light. The light is powered through the use of two CR123A batteries, which provide a total run time of 1.5 hours. The light is a single-mode item that provides full illumination only, ensuring that users won't accidentally cycle through unwanted modes in high-stress situations.

The light measures 4.75 inches long and features a bezel diameter of 1.1 inches. The total weight of the CombatLight, batteries included, is 4.25 ounces. The suggested retail price on the new-for-2017 G2Z-MV light from SureFire is $120.
