Streamlight expanded its hands-free headlamp lineup in 2018 with the introduction of its all-new Twin-Task model, built for both close- and long-range lighting needs.

“This latest addition to the Streamlight line of Twin-Task work lights gives industrial, automotive and other professionals a versatile headlamp that can be powered by readily available AA batteries,” said Streamlight Vice President of Sales and Marketing Michael F. Dineen. “With its main beam for distance spotting and a COB Flood LED for working close up, technicians always have just the right mode for their lighting needs.”

Built with the company's tried-and-trusted LED spotlight for faraway illumination, the Streamlight Twin-Task Headlamp is also loaded with the company's all-new COB LED technology, designed to provide a soft area light that allows for close-up lighting of confined spaces. Five different lighting levels ensure that users can fine-tune the light's output for their needs.

Each headlamp features a multi-function switch that allows owners to choose between high, medium and low modes for the LED spotlight. On its highest setting, the light provides a maximum output of 300 lumens and a run time of 4.25 hours. At its lowest setting, the spotlight features an output of 50 lumens and a run time of 38 hours. The other two modes provided in the headlamp are found in the all-new COB LED. A high-output mode provides 250 lumens running for a maximum of 3.5 hours. A low-output setting provides 125 lumens of illumination for 7.5 hours.

The Streamlight Twin-Task Headlamp is built with an impact-rated nylon housing weighing 7.6 ounces with batteries. The housing is IPX4 waterproof and measures 2.67 inches wide, complete with a 3-inch long battery pack at the rear of the head band. The light can use either alkaline or lithium AA batteries for power.

The suggested retail price on the Twin-Task Headlamp is $75.
