Springfield Armory is releasing a new model of the XD-M Elite 4.5” OSP 10mm, now in Desert FDE. The XD-M Elite 4.5″ OSP 10mm that has all the features of a modern optics-ready, polymer-framed, striker-fired pistol, combines that with 16 rounds of 10mm in each magazine. The 4.5-inch, match-grade Melonite finished barrel maximizes ballistic performance and the extended/removable flared magwell provides faster reloads. There is also improved slide serrations and an ambidextrous slide stop for better gun manipulations.

The Desert FDE XD-M Elite 4.5″ 10mm features the Optical Sight Pistol (OSP) system, a removable seamless cover plate that covers a mounting interface for installing the optic of your choice using mounting plates that are available separately. If iron sights are your thing, on top of the forged steel slide is a Tactical Rack U-Dot rear sight which has a u-shaped white outline that works with the high-visibility fiber optic front sight. At the heart of the pistol is the Match Enhanced Trigger Assembly (META) system, a refined trigger with a flat face and integral overtravel stop. A double-zipper case is included with the pistol which ensures the firearm and mounted accessories are protected during transportation, while an interior pouch can hold an additional magazine.
