The Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory lineup grew in 2018 to provide expanded options to rimfire competition shooters, thanks to the launch of the company's all-new Victory Target Model. This enhanced handgun is loaded with a number of features designed to help handgunners excel at the range.

Jan Mladek, General Manager of Smith & Wesson and M&P brands, said, “Since the launch of the SW22 Victory pistol in 2015, our customers have asked for a model specifically built for target shooting competitions," said Jan Mladek, general manager of Smith & Wesson and M&P brands. "With that in mind, we designed the new SW22 Victory Target Model with target grips and sights to provide our customers with an ideal target shooting pistol.”

The Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory Target Model is built with a 5.5-inch bull barrel machined from stainless steel. The company also enhanced the platform with a target trigger complete with an adjustable trigger stop, giving competitors an opportunity to fine-tune their trigger feel to personal preferences.

Also new on the Target Model is the inclusion of textured polymer grips built with thumb-rest panels to accommodate a competition-style shooting grip. The panels feature thumb rests on both grip panels to accommodate both left- and right-handed users. The pistol ships with a black blade front sight and an adjustable, target-style rear sight. A Picatinny optics rail is also included to facilitate electronic sights.

First launched in 2015, the Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory offers consumers a single-action rimfire pistol with an enclosed hammer-fired, blowback action. The standout feature of the Victory is its single-screw takedown, which eases disassembly for maintenance and cleaning. The pistol is built with a stainless-steel slide and frame, measures 9.2 inches long and weighs 36 ounces unloaded.

The SW22 Victory Target Model ships with two 10-round magazines and sells at a suggested retail price of $429.
