SIG Sauer Romeo3Max

New from SIG Sauer is the Romeo3Max red dot sight, designed in collaboration with Team SIG Captain and 7-time World Speed Shooting Champion, Max Michel. The Romeo3Max Pro is SIG Sauer’s next generation of competition-ready pistol reflex sight and is the embodiment of a lifetime of repetition of experience in the competitive environment.

The Romeo3Max Pro uses the industry-standard DeltaPoint Pro footprint, which allows for direct mounting to the slide. Unlike the Romeo3Max which required an adapter plate, the direct mount of the Romeo3Max lowers the deck height, optimizing the height over the bore axis and allowing users to co-witness with suppressor height sights.

The new model offers three additional brightness settings compared to the earlier optic, giving users greater control in various lighting conditions. It also upgrades to an 8-MOA dot from the previous 6-MOA, making it more suitable for users with astigmatism by allowing them to run the dot at lower brightness and minimize reticle distortion.

Adjustments for windage and elevation are now made easier with slotted screws, eliminating the hassle of using a tiny Allen wrench for adjustment. The redesigned brightness buttons align with industry standards, placing the up button at the front and the down at the back for intuitive use.

The Romeo3Max Pro has a slightly larger lens for a better field of view and includes the innovative Magnetac rubber optic cover. This cover not only protects the lens but also when the cover is in place it automatically turns off the reticle, helping competitors conserve battery life between stages.

Romeo3Max Pro Features

  • Industry standard DeltaPoint Pro footprint for direct mount (previous version had a proprietary footprint and required an adapter plate)
  • Direct-mount ability and a new lower deck height allow for a more optimal height over bore axis and allows you to co-witness with suppressor height sights
  • Three additional brightness settings for finer brightness adjustments in varying lighting conditions
  • A new 8-MOA dot (previously 6-MOA) allows even faster reticle acquisition, and allows the shooter to run the dot at a lower brightness, helping to reduce reticle distortion and flare, especially to those with astigmatism
  • Slotted screws for windage/elevation adjustments and battery tray – no more losing a tiny Allen wrench at the range
  • Brightness button re-configuration to the industry standard (brightness up is now at the front, down is at the back)
  • Lens size increased to 31mm from 30mm

The included Magnetac rubber optic cover automatically turns the reticle off when installed, so you can preserve battery life between match stages, or when storing the optic

The Romeo3MAX-Pro is available in either a 3- or 8-MOA red dot with 15 total illumination intervals and features an IPX7 waterproof rating and 20,000-hour runtime. More information on this optic and other products from SIG Sauer is available at sigsauer.com.
