These new Level IIIA inserts are designed especially for the Tru-Spec Concealed Armor Shirt weighing just .8 pounds per panel. The whole package weighs around 2 pounds and allows for enhanced protection without the bulk of a vest or the need for specialized clothing.

Premier Body Armor’s Level IIIA panels are designed and tested to NIJ Standard-0101.06. Even though they are just 0.22 inches thick, the panels are rated to stop 9 mm, .40, .45 and .44 Magnum rounds. Panels are Special Threat Tested to withstand 12-gauge buckshot and slugs, Liberty Civil Defense 9 mm ammunition and the FN 5.7x28 round. The panels are also stab and slash resistant and are guaranteed with a five-year incident product-replacement warranty.
Tru-Spec’s Concealed Armor Shirt is constructed from TRU-DRI moisture-wicking compression fabric made from 85 percent polyester and 15 percent spandex. The top-loading pockets on the front and back are bordered by polyester mesh along with 2 mm of foam and have reinforced corners to prevent the armor plates from shifting.
