Guntag is a new company with a product line focused on offering gun owners the means to “keep tabs” on their firearms at all times. Guntag does so by enlisting the aid of the ubiquitous Apple AirTags or Tile trackers. Both of these trackers can be paired with most smartphones today as means to track their whereabouts and location. To be more specific, Guntag’s solutions involve creating durable and portable housings to envelop and protect either an Apple AirTag or Tile device. These Guntag housings can then be attached to the accessory rail of a handgun or Picatinny rail or a long gun. In addition to this, Guntag also offers combination products that consist of the secure housing for these transponders along with the functionality of a tactical light or laser.

Guntag GT 4

  • Tamper and shock proof Apple AirTag or Tile transponder holder made from aluminum and polymer; universal Picatinny or Weaver mount

Guntag GT 7

  • Tamper and shock proof Apple AirTag or Tile transponder holder made from aluminum and polymer; universal Picatinny or Weaver mount. The GT 7 has the added capability of a <5mW Green Laser unit

Guntag GT 9

  • Tamper- and shock-proof Apple AirTag or Tile transponder holder made from aluminum and polymer; universal Picatinny or Weaver mount. The GT 9 has the added capability of a <5mW Green Laser unit, and a 350 lumen tactical light with six different programmable modes.

Troy Deus, CEO and Founder of GunTag says, "The idea was born when we had 30 car break-ins in our neighborhood in one night. A number of firearms were stolen. That next morning, we received a four pack of AirTags to use for various items including our bike in case of theft. It got us thinking. If we can use an AirTag or Tile for loss and anti-theft for a bike, why not a firearm?"

GunTag empowers gun owners the ability to know the location of their firearms at all times using popular Bluetooth devices such as Apple AirTags and Tile Stickers. Discrete compartments for personal Bluetooth devices paired with tactical rugged laser sights and LED lights make for a powerful accessory with peace of mind.
