The lid of the Speedlocker is secured via a non-electronic mechanical combination lock that does not rely on any batteries. Streamlight ensured that the Speedlocker was suitable for the storage of firearms, but other items such as important medicines, documents, jewelry or cash can also be stored safely inside the Speedlocker. The container is built with a tough polymer shell and its internal storage area measures approximately 15 square inches (8 inches long by 7 inches wide). The Speedlocker is also air travel friendly.
