A high quality, first focal plane optic is essential for anyone looking to start shooting at longer ranges. Better glass and more precise construction means reliable, repeatable hits out to hundreds and hundreds of yards, and a first focal plane optic lets you judge distances based on scope data and target size.

Now German Precision Optics has a new entry into the premium tactical riflescope high magnification first focal plane optics market, the GPOTAC 4.5-27x50i FFP. The scope is designed for use by professionals as well as shooters, hunters and anyone who demands the very best in long distance and tactical shooting. The 4.5-27x50i FFP mates superior materials and meticulous manufacturing processes and tolerances to produce an optic that is on par with the world’s finest scopes. The 4.5-27x50i GPOTAC FFP comes with a throw lever, cleaning cloth, see-through bikini ocular and objective lens scope covers, and an extra CR2032 battery.

The scope is crafted from a solid, one-piece dust-proof, waterproof, nitrogen-filled body for increased strength and durability.

An illuminated Mil-Spec LRpro magnifying reticle combines with the GPO iCONTROL illumination system to assist the shooter in placing the perfect shot in even the lowest light conditions. High-Tech Handloading

I now keep all my ammunition-creation data on a computer. Sure, I’ll make notes when working up a new load or tweaking an existing one, but ultimately my data is stored digitally. Since my loading room is only steps from my computer, the transition from written to digital data has been easy for me. Now that I’m using the handloading app from RCBS, it’s even easier, and it also makes recreating my favorite loads when I’m at the loading bench more convenient.
