Danger zone!

Gatorz, the eyewear company known for their extremely sturdy and safety rated tactical sunglasses is now releasing a limited-edition pair of Skyhook gunmetal aviator sunglasses styled for both men and women.

The Skyhook frame is a nod back to the old school aviator frame style first seen during the late 1930s that was possibly made famous by World War Two American military pilots and U.S. Army General Douglas McArthur. Though the Skyhook takes its style cues from these old school inspirations, the frames of the glasses are sturdy and made from 7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminum (unlike the thin and somewhat delicate wire frames from the past). This limited-edition version of the Skyhook features a gunmetal grey Cerakote finish, which is the first time Gatorz is offering a pair of sunglasses with that style of finish.

In addition to a sturdier frame that is machined from billet aluminum, the lenses Gatorz includes in their sunglasses are treated with surface treatments that make them not only water and oil resistant, but also scratch proof. Lens treatments do not affect visibility of digital screens such as smart watches or modern cell phones while still providing the wearer’s eyes protection from harmful UV rays.

Limited Edition Gunmetal Skyhook Features:

  • Full adjustable frame and nosepiece
  • Impact resistant polycarbonate lenses with seven different color tint options
  • Polarized or non-polarized lenses available
  • 100-percent American made

All eyewear made by Gatorz, including the Skyhook line is back by the company’s lifetime warranty and made in the United States of America. Gatorz also includes a 30 day hassle-free return policy for the convenience of its customers. Retail price for the Gatorz Skyhook line starts at $270.
