The velocity and accuracy of the PCC round are optimized for long gun-barrel lengths, and the ammunition has a bullet profile which provides excellent accuracy and reliable feeding in a variety of carbine platforms. Along with the Federal’s Syntech Action Pistol round, Syntech PCC is an official ammunition of United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA).
Like all other Syntech loads, Syntech PCC uses the one-of-a-kind TSJ projectile, which has a polymer jacket to eliminate metal fouling and drastically reduce damaging barrel heat and friction. The Syntech PCC round also improves safety on the range and decreases wear and tear stage props by using a bullet design which minimizes splash-back on steel targets.
