Taurus USA is rolling out the latest model in the TX 22 line of .22LR pistols, the upgraded Taurus TX 22 with enhanced iron sights, slide cuts for faster cycling and an optics-ready configuration.
The heart of the enhanced Taurus TX 22 is the Taurus Performance Trigger System (PTS), which has a short, smooth pull and ergonomic grip for more comfort and control. There is also a MIL-STD-1913 accessory rail on the bottom of the frame, allowing users to customize their setup with a wide array of pistol-sized tactical lights, laser sights or light/laser combinations. The barrel is threaded with an external thread of 1/2-28 tpi, making it compatible with most available .22LR suppressors. Incorporating proprietary slide lightening cuts, the Taurus TX 22 addresses concerns about the added weight of optics without compromising reliability. These strategic cuts reduce weight in the slide, enhancing maneuverability and agility for enhanced performance.
The upgraded iron sights of the Taurus TX22 feature a high-contrast white dot front sight and a serrated rear sight for optimized visibility and reduced glare, improved shooting accuracy and target acquisition. The enhanced Taurus TX22 includes a 22-round magazine and a 16-round magazine, providing users with ample firepower for extended shooting sessions. There is also an optics-ready configuration T.O.R.O. version available, offering users the option to customize their shooting experience with their choice of electronic sighting system.
