The partnership between Girsan and European American Armory (EAA) means that some well-made, affordable firearms are now available on our shores. One of the most recent is the new Witness 2311 double stack 1911 style pistol. This Turkish made pistol ships in seven different configurations, including three barrel lengths and three caliber choices. As a result, the American consumer now has more options for an affordable single-action, double-stack 1911-style pistol. Other features on the Witness include a skeletonized trigger, a flared magazine well and an accessory rail on the frame in front of the trigger to allow for the mounting of lights, lasers or other accessories.

Keith Bernkrant, President of EAA, stated: “We do not rush our products to market like some of our competition. I am proud to say the Witness 2311 is one of the finest products we have ever distributed. Many have said we must be “out of our minds!” at the retail price of $999 including optics for the first 3,000 optic ready units.”

Four of the seven variants will retail for $999 and three of them will retail for $1,029. The first 3,000 EAA Girsan Witness 2311 pistols will also ship with complimentary EAA Far Dot micro-red-dot sights. The EAA Far Dot optic has a Shield RMS/RMSc based footprint, which fits neatly into the Witness 2311 factory optics cut. This cut is slimmer than other popular footprints and fits well on the narrower slide of any 1911 pattern pistol, with either a single or double stack magazine.

The seven different Witness 2311 pistols include models with varying barrel lengths of 4.25, 5 and 6 inches and come in 9mm, .45 ACP and 10mm.
