DeSantis Gunhide, long known for its line of holsters designed for daily carry, unveiled a specially designed concealed-carry option for women at SHOT Show 2018. Called the Women's Gunnybag, this handbag offers all of the benefits of a traditional purse, along with a few hidden features.

While the safest and most easily accessible method of carrying a personal-defense firearm is to have one on your body at all times, it can be difficult for women to dress around their concealed-carry pistol in certain professional attire. The all-new DeSantis Women's Gunnybag gives defense-minded women an option to have their firearm within easy reach without compromising on dress.

The handbag is specifically designed to blend in with many other purses seen on the market, thus concealing its personal-defense-oriented purpose, thanks to stylish design and high-quality construction. The bag is made using shrunken grain leather and offers up a number of compartments for women to store their daily-carry materials without compromising access to their personal-defense gun.

The inside of the bag offers up two different lined compartments, each with its own zippered closure to keep items secure while on the move. The front of the purse also features a separate pocket for easy-access items, and this compact compartment uses a zippered closure for added security as well.

Separated from the rest of the compartments and hidden on the body side of the purse is the concealed gun pocket. The pocket incorporates a special lining that protects the finish of a firearm and features a zippered closure that keeps the contents secured away from prying eyes and fingers. If a firearm is needed, users can discreetly unzip the pocket and access the firearm while keeping the motion hidden by the front face of the purse.

The DeSantis Women's Gunnybag is sold with two separate inserts that allow the purse to accommodate small-, medium- and large-frame semi-automatic handguns as well as small revolvers, encompassing more than 114 different firearm fits. Best of all, the purse is affordable, retailing at a suggested price of $74.99.
