Dead Air Nomax 33 Suppressor

Dead Air Silencers has just unveiled the new Nomax 33 suppressor, a silencer meant for rifle calibers over 7.62mm, with a nominal diameter of 8.6mm to accommodate such calibers as .338 Lapua Mag, .338 Win. Mag, .338 Fed. Mag. and 8.6 BLK.

The Dead Air Silencers Nomax 33 is designed around Dead Air’s patented Nomad two-stage, coaxial-baffle system, and in this case is optimized for 8.6 mm (.33-caliber) rifle cartridges and projectiles.

“Three years in the making, the Nomax 33 is the design execution of bringing together the most optimized package possible for sound suppression, accuracy and precision for .338 rifle systems. The Nomad baffle system was a no-brainer due to its ability to increase efficiency as pressure rises—while remaining top-tier with subsonic loads. As we went from welded structures to 3D-printed monolithic bodies, we were able to make it lighter and stronger to the point that it was easily capable of handling exceptionally powerful cartridges like 338 Lapua Mag. and 33XC. The Nomax 33 is your go-to suppressor for anything from 8.6 BLK, to .308, to .33 big bore cartridges,“ said Todd Magee Director, Product Design & Engineering.
