CZ USA has just launched the latest version of the P-09 line of hammer-fired, polymer framed pistols, the new CZ P-09 Nocturne. The new CZ P-09 Nocturne is the third-generation variant of the P-09 family and is available as either a compact or full-size pistol. The Nocturne carries some tweaks on its frame and improves on the original design of the older P-09. The pistol is outfitted with CZ’s TDA (traditional double action) Omega Trigger. Nocturne pistols also have a newly styled series of slide serrations and frame grip textures.
The CZ P-09 Nocturne also has a modern, optics-ready slide with a Shield RMSc footprint cut by default at the factory. By using the Shield RMSc pattern on the slide, it’s extremely easy to mount some of the most popular slide-mounted red-dot sights on the market today, especially those with lower profiles that are friendly for every day carry (EDC) scenarios. Similarly, the slide is also compatible with the Holosun K footprint, which has a lot of similarities and gives owners access to those Holosun’s popular carry dots including the enclosed emitter EPS and EPS Carry series.
