GHM9 Retro

B&T USA is unveiling the new GHM9 Retro, a cutting-edge, large-format pistol available exclusively through Sports South. This exclusive offering blends vintage-inspired design elements with the latest advancements in user-friendly enhancements.

“The GHM9 Retro is a tribute to the past and engineered for the future” said Chris Mudgett, Vice President of Marketing, B&T USA. “This Retro model pays homage to its original prototype configuration by incorporating a top-mounted charging handle, reminiscent of the KH9-series platform. This design provides the slimmest, most snag-free profile possible, making it ideal for rapid deployment from bags or other compartments where platform width is a consideration.”

The GHM9 Retro takes inspiration from the original prototype and features a top-mounted charging handle similar to the renowned KH9-series platform. This ensures a sleek, snag-free profile, making it an ideal choice for storage and rapid deployment. With its ambidextrous charging system, users benefit from ease of use and operational efficiency in any environment.

The GHM9 Retro retains the hallmark modularity of the GHM platform, allowing users to configure the system to meet their mission-specific needs. The pistol joins other models in the GHM9 lineup including the GHM9 C SBR, GHM9 G large-format pistol, which uses Glock-compatible magazines and the GHM45 SBR chambered in .45 ACP.

GHM9 Retro Features:

  • Fully ambidextrous lower receiver for seamless operation.
  • Hydraulic buffer system, delivering enhanced recoil mitigation and improved shooting comfort.
  • Threaded 1/2x28 tpi muzzle with a three-lug adapter for compatibility with various suppressors.
  • Compatibility with APC9 PRO lower receiver groups, enabling customization with barrels, handguards, and stocks.
  • Available in a variety of brace-ready pistol configurations

New Pistol Suppressors for 2025

We hear you (pun intended)! This year, we are reporting manufacturer’s sound-reduction rating where available. Now, not every manufacturer makes that information publicly available, so you’ll see a fair number of “N/As” where no decibel-reduction numbers were provided, but rest assured that, despite what you might think, the noise-reduction rating is one of the least important factors when choosing a new suppressor (more on that in a future article).
