Apex Tactical Specialties is now offering blue-anodized triggers in a select number of its kits for Glock and Smith & Wesson handguns. These trigger join the company's collection of black, red and purple anodized triggers, as well as options available in the company's Freedom Edition and Thin Blue Line trigger series.

For Glock handguns, Apex offers its Action Enhancement Trigger w/ Factory Gen 3 Trigger Bar, Trigger Body and Action Enhancement Kit all with an anodized-blue trigger body. The Action Enhancement Trigger is designed as a direct drop-in component for Glock handguns, and the trigger reduces the overall travel distance over the factory trigger and gives the gun a smoother, cleaner trigger break.

The company also offers its drop-in Action Enhancement Blue Trigger, which replaces the standard factory polymer trigger assembly, providing smoother uptake and a decreased travel distance. Unlike other kits available from Apex Tactical, this trigger will easily drop into nearly any Glock Gen 3 pistol model on the market, except for the G42.

For Glock handguns, Apex Tactical also offers its total Action Enhancement Kit, which includes a Gen 3 factory trigger bar, safety plunger, performance connector and the company's blue trigger. All of these components combine to provide a smoother pull, decreased travel, shorter reset, cleaner trigger break and a 1-pound reduction in overall trigger-pull weight. This kit can be used in both Gen 3 and Gen 4 pistol models, but it will not work in Glock pistols chambered in 10 mm, .45 ACP or .45 GAP.

Apex Tactical also offers its blue enhanced trigger for the Smith & Wesson M&P and M&P Shield, featuring the company's Flat-Faced Forward Set Trigger and Flat-Faced Forward Set Sear & Trigger Kit for the M&P. For the Shield, the company offers two different blue-anodized triggers: the Action Enhancement Trigger and the Flat-Faced Action Enhancement Trigger, along with Duty/Carry Kits for each.

The suggested retail price for the company's Glock Action Enhancement components starts at $84.95. Blue trigger kits for Smith & Wesson M&P handguns start at $79.95.
