The Smith & Wesson M&P Shield is a popular choice for people looking for a slim everyday carry pistol that packs a punch. Smith & Wesson recently updated the Shield to the higher-capacity Shield Plus, and Apex Tactical is ready. The Action Enhancement Trigger & Duty/Carry Kit for the Smith & Wesson Shield 2.0 from Apex Tactical will work in your Shield Plus to deliver a significant improvement in the feel of the trigger pull, while still maintaining its performance as an everyday carry pistol.

By installing the Action Enhancement Kit Trigger & Duty Carry Kit and using factory springs, you can reduce the trigger pull of your Shield Plus to around 4.8 pounds, and dial in the trigger pull that works best for you with different combinations of factory and Apex Tactical parts.

Apex Tactical Action Enhancement Trigger & Duty/Carry Kit Features

  • Reduces trigger pull weight by approximately 1 to 2 pounds
  • Reduces trigger pre-travel and over-travel approximately 20 percent
  • Smooth uptake and reset
  • Crisp trigger break
  • Maintains factory safety values with center mounted pivoting safety
  • Direct drop-in replacement parts, no fitting required

The Action Enhancement Trigger & Duty/Carry Kit will work in the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield 2.0 and Shield Plus pistols in either 9 mm and .40 S&W caliber. It will not work in the original models of the S&W Shield, or in the Shield .45. Here's what is included in the Action Enhancement Trigger & Duty/Carry Kit:

  • Action Enhancement trigger
  • 1-Dot fully machined sear
  • Sear spring (1/8 inch)
  • Duty/Carry trigger return spring
  • Ultimate striker block
  • Striker block spring
  • Talon Tactical tool
  • Slave pin

MSRP for the Apex Action Enhancement Trigger & Duty/Carry Kit for the Smith & Wesson Shield 2.0 and Shield Plus is $159, and more information on this product and other gear from Apex Tactical is available at apextactical.com
