American Tactical, which offers a number of affordable shotguns for the U.S. market, built on its product offerings in 2017 with the introduction of the company's American Tactical shotgun ammunition.

The new ammunition line is designed to offer shotgun shooters a dependable ammo option at a price that they can afford. For American Tactical in particular, the company worked to ensure that each shotgun offered in its lineup has an ammo pairing available from the company, ensuring that shooters can receive a complete range package from one shop.

The company offers shotguns for personal-defense, competition and hunting use. In the company's home-defense lineup, it offers its AMTAC collection of shotguns, which are available in both semi-automatic and pump-action models. For these guns, American Tactical offers 12-gauge shotgun ammunition that can be used effectively for personal defense.

American Tactical also offers a line of competition-grade shotguns, called the Cavalry. These guns feature high-quality engraved receivers as well as premium wood stocks and are available in both 12-gauge and 20-gauge options designed for sporting clays.

Finally, the company's new Road Agent shotgun is a 12-gauge option built from the ground up for hunters and can be easily paired with American Tactical sabot slugs for the hunting fields.

Ammunition is available in 12-gauge, 20-gauge and .410 bore options. For .410-caliber shotguns, target loads are offered with No. 9, nine-pellet T load and rifled slug options. The suggested retail price for the company's .410 ammo options starts at $11.99 per box of 25 shells.

The 12-gauge and 20-gauge shotshell options from American Tactical include No. 9, No. 8, No. 7.5, and 1.25-ounce sabot lead slugs. The shotshell options retail at a suggested price of $6.99 per box of 25, while the slugs retail for $6.25 per box of five. Bulk quantity options are also available for purchase.
