Barnes Precision Machine (BPM), believes in making top quality rifles that will last a lifetime and provide unmatched performance that exceeds customer expectations. That belief is what drove BPM to create the new CQB-10 and LR-10 for 2015. Manufacturing and producing all of their own components and parts in house on an impressive array of CNC machines allows for extreme attention to detail and quality control. BPMs .308 rifles will be available in both a 16 inch (CQB) and 20 inch (LR) version, each offering premium features as standard.

The rifles feature match grade barrels that are CNC machined from Montana 416 SS barrel blanks in-house, and are then Nitromet treated along with the gas tube for a tough black finish that is more corrosion and heat resistant. Free floated inside BPM's proprietary Ultralite Extreme 14" hand guard, they offer unmatched accuracy right out of the case. The hand guards feature a sleek lightweight design with four reinforced interchangeable sling swivel inserts and BPM's proprietary barrel nut making it the most rigid and durable in the industry.

The billet upper and lower receivers are machined out of one solid piece of 7075 aluminum before being hard anodized. The lower features an ambidextrous bolt latch and adjustable tension screw. The upper houses a bolt carrier group that's nickel boron coated standard. Also standard is a choice of either a Hiperfire 24E or Geissele G2S trigger. Rounding out the package is BPM's new Heavy Metal Buffer System for reduced felt recoil.

All BPM rifles come with Magpul MBUS sights and a variety of MAGPUL furniture is available including their PRS stock. Rifles ship in a custom Patriot Case's AR case with MAGPUL 5 and 9 Slot rail sections, as well as a removable bipod insert. Additional options will include ROBAR NP3 coating and ambidextrous safety selectors. As a final added value to their customers, BPM offers Leupold Optics at BPM factory dealer pricing to anyone who purchases one of their rifles.
