New from Springfield Armory is the XD-M Elite 3.8-inch Compact pistol, with all the features of the company's Elite line of guns, but packed into a size easier to carry on an everyday basis. The pistol has a compact slide and a short, concealable frame that has a removable flared mag well for faster reloads. The Match Enhanced Trigger Assembly (META) gives you a terrific trigger, right from the factory. The pistol ships with two 14-round magazines and can use higher-capacity magazines for a full-size grip and 19+1-round capacity.
The XD-M Elite 3.8-inch features a hammer-forged barrel that is designed to deliver long life and match-grade accuracy in every situation. Designed to carry as discreetly as possible, the XD-M Elite 3.8-inch Compact features a compact grip frame that offers a 14+1 maximum capacity with a minimal footprint that’s easy to carry and easy to conceal. The XD-M Elite 3.8-inch Compact also features a removable extended and flared “short” mag well. The removable mag well makes reloads fast and easy and gives you a firm grip on the handgun, without the worry of pinching your hand on the sleeve of your magazine. The mag well also allows the XD-M Elite 3.8-inch to quickly convert from a compact to a full-size pistol with a 19+1 capacity with a separately-purchased extended magazine.
