The Springfield Armory Hellcat revolutionized the subcompact 9 mm market. Offering the highest standard capacity magazine in its class, along with a compact size and a model that could mount a red dot sight, it rewrote the rule book when it came to small, compact 9 mm pistols and became an extremely popular option for concealed carry. The popularity of the Hellcat soon meant that other manufacturers would create aftermarket upgrades for Springfield Armory’s new pistol.

One of those manufacturers was Apex Tactical. Since 2001, Apex has been making performance upgrades for a wide variety of pistols, and the company has earned a reputation for making good guns even better with its easy-to-install trigger solutions.

Now Apex is coming out with a brand new trigger for the Springfield Armory Hellcat. The new Action Enhancement Trigger for the Hellcat comes with an Apex Sear Spring and Apex Striker Spring. When installed, this combination reduces overall travel and brings the trigger pull weight to approximately 5.0 to 5.5 pounds after a short break-in period.

Apex Action Enhancement Trigger Features

  • Reduces trigger pull weight to 5.0-5.5 pounds, after break-in period
  • Smooths uptake and reset
  • Reduces trigger overall travel and reset distance
  • Delivers a crisp trigger break
  • Directly replaces factory components without additional fitting
  • Maintains factory safety values

The Apex Action Enhancement Trigger for the Springfield Armory Hellcat is offered in two standard color options: Black, and Thin Blue Line. There is an option to upgrade to Red, Freedom Edition (Black) or Freedom Edition (TBL) for a small increase in price. MSRP for the Apex Action Enhancement Trigger for the Springfield Armory Hellcat starts at $79.95, and more information on this trigger and other products from Apex Tactical is available at apextactical.com.
