Enthusiasts eager to get a first-hand look at many of the new guns and gear Shooting Illustrated covering during last month’s Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show in Las Vegas have a chance to do so during the National Rifle Association’s 2020 Great American Outdoor Show already underway in Harrisburg, PA. The event, which is being held at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex, runs until Feb. 9.

The family-friendly annual celebration of shooting and outdoor pursuits includes a variety of new events and attractions this year. They’re highlighted by an expanded schedule of educational sessions and presenters—more than 250 seminars and demonstrations in all. There’s also the Feb. 8 NRA Country Concert with Chris Janson who will be joined by special guests Jon Langston and Jacob Bryant for an epic night of music and celebration of the outdoor lifestyle.

But if it’s the new gun and gear you’re interested in, look no further than the 1,100 exhibitors as well as Ruger is making its first-ever appearance at the Great American Outdoor Show. Visitors will have an opportunity to meet with the company’s representatives and brand ambassadors while viewing a large assortment of Ruger products, including time-honored classics as well as exciting, newly introduced models.

“We are thrilled to be exhibiting at the show for our very first time,” said Ruger Vice President of Marketing Rob Werkmeister. “We have received an overwhelming number of requests from our customers over the last several years to bring our team to Harrisburg for this exciting event and we are happy to respond to their call this year.”

The Great American Outdoor Show takes place on 650,000 square feet of exhibit-hall space, features more than a thousand companies in all, with firearms manufacturers, outfitters, fishing boats and RVs, as well as archery and art. The event includes concerts, fundraising dinners, speaking events, archery competitions, celebrity appearances, seminars, demonstrations and much more.
