Christensen Arms has announced a new rimfire rifle option for competition shooters and small-game hunters alike. The company has applied its 20-plus years of firearm experience focused on incorporating top-tier aerospace materials and processes into production. It now has leveraged that expertise to create a new rimfire rifle that is a worthy companion to the rest of the lightweight, precise and accurate firearms in its line, building a rifle that is ideal for the competitive shooter, hunter or the general-purpose firearms enthusiast.

The new Ranger 22 brings a rimfire rifle back to the Christensen Arms lineup. The bolt-action platform is built for precision and features an aluminum receiver with a steel recoil lug insert, Christensen Arms carbon-fiber tension barrel and a carbon-fiber composite rimfire stock. It is also equipped with standard sling studs, a 0 MOA picatinny rail and a match grade Remington 700-style trigger. Weight of the Ranger 22 starts at 5.1 pounds, and the rifle is backed by a Christensen Arms Sub-MOA at 50 Yards Guarantee.

“We took to the challenge of building an advanced rimfire rifle with the same dedication and determination we commit to all of our firearms,” said Jason Christensen, CEO of Christensen Arms. “Many of the same technologies and materials used in our centerfire rifle production are reflected in the final product.”

The Ranger 22 is available chambered in .22 LR with an 18-inch barrel. Options for finishes include the classic Black with Gray Webbing look as well as a new Tan with Black Webbing option.

MSRP on the Christensen Arms Ranger 22 is $795, and more information is available on their website, christensenarms.com.
