European American Armory Corporation (EAA Corp.) is rolling out its latest competition handgun, the Girsan MC1911 Noel. The MC1911 Noel has features that were recommended by Noel Zarza, a USPSA competition shooter sponsored by EAA. The Noel 1911 is built on a fully machined steel frame and slide with a matte nickel finish and features an extended beavertail and ambidextrous safety. The pistol has checkering on the frame front and back grip for a confident grip, and the skeletonized target trigger breaks cleanly and crisply at around 2.5 pounds. The MC1911 Noel also features a fully adjustable target rear sight and textured laminated grips.

Noel Zarza is EAA’s newest sponsored competitive shooter, and in addition to the 1911 that bears his name, he enjoys shooting the Girsan MC1911 Match, Match Elite and the Tanfoglio Limited Custom and Custom Xtreme, all from European American Armory. Zarza, is a retired Army officer who served as a company commander, combat trainer and combat advisor to allied military forces. He was also an operations officer for a Special Forces unit during his last deployment to Afghanistan. He is currently based out of Central Pennsylvania, and his latest accolades include a 2nd Place finish at the 2019 Immortal Arms Virginia State USPSA Championship and a 3rd Place finish at the RBPS Eastern Lakes Sectional Championship held in New York.

Zarza is scheduled to compete in at least nine major USPSA matches for the upcoming 2020 season.

This single stack competition Girsan MC1911 Noel pistol is offered in .45 ACP with an 8+1 capacity and 9 mm with a 10+1 capacity. The Noel 1911 has a 5-inch barrel, an overall length of 8.75 inches and a weight of 2.55 pounds.

MSRP for the Girsan MC1911 Noel in .45 ACP is $1,075 and $901 for the 9 mm version. More information on this pistol and the rest of the EAA line is available at eaacorp.com.
