New from Athlon Optics is the feature rich First Focal Plane (FFP) Ares ETR 1-10x28 mm, an affordable Low Power Variable Optic (LPVO). This 10X magnification optic is paired with a reticle that is designed to combine the speed of a red dot on 1 power with the extended range capabilities of a precision reticle on 10 power.

The ETR 1-10x28 mm uses Ultra High Definition ED-Glass, illuminated reticles and a 34 mm tube to excel in low light conditions in both tactical situations and hunting in the field. The scope features either a FFP Mil-based reticle or a FFP BDC MOA-based reticle. Both are designed for use with .223/5.56 mm 68-69-grain BTHP cartridges to suit a wide range of applications. The Ares 1-10x28 mm also has a fool-proof turret design that comes complete with a capped windage turret and a locking elevation turret that uses Athlon’s Precision Zero Stop System.

UHD Glass Extra-Low Dispersion glass used in the Ares ETR 1-10x28 mm significantly reduces chromatic aberration giving you an utmost bright and sharp image with true color reproduction. Athlon’s AFMC Advanced Fully Multi-Coating is a uniquely designed coating that is applied on all lens surfaces to give better light transmission and allows for optimum brightness and true color across the entire light spectrum.

The first focal plane provides reticle validity at all magnifications, and the Locking Elevation Turret lets you push down to lock the turret and pull up to turn, preventing the elevation knob from being turned accidentally while maintaining a consistently true zero.

The Precision Zero Stop System on the Ares ETR 1-10x28 mm scope allows you to lock down your zero position and dial back to it with a sharp and precise stop right at your zero mark. For more information on this scope and other products from Athlon Optics, please visit AthlonOptics.com
