Viridian Weapon Technologies has expanded its new Viridian Optics line with the release of two new riflescope models—the Venta 1.5-4.5x32 mm and Venta 4-16x40 mm. The scopes come with advanced optical coatings, 30 mm tubes for long-range precision and glass-etched mil-dot reticles.

“Last November, we introduced the exciting Viridian Optics product line with an aim to give our customers direct-to-consumer riflescopes that exceed expectations in both performance and price point,” said Viridian President and CEO Brian Hedeen. “Now we’re expanding our offerings with the new Venta models—featuring advanced optics and coatings that will let you see well into the darkest conditions, solid one-piece aluminum construction and so much more. They’re reliable, purpose-built and truly the best bang for your buck.”

The 1.5-4.5x32 mm version is 10.16 inches long and it weighs 14.81 ounces. Parallax is at 100 yards and the glass is fully multi-coated. It is water resistant, shockproof and fogproof. Eye relief measures between 3.82 inches to 5.28 inches, depending on magnification. MSRP is $199 and it comes with the company’s lifetime warranty.

The 4-16x40 mm is 13.8 inches long and weights 20.45 ounces. Parallax is also at 100 yards, the glass is fully multi-coated and its resistance to the elements is identical to its smaller-magnification sibling. Eye relief is 3.5 inches to 4.33 inches. MSRP is $219 and it’s also backed by Viridian’s warranty.

Headquartered in Minneapolis, MN, Viridian Weapon Technologies is devoted to applying cutting-edge technology to design compact, powerful self-defense products tailored for the civilian, military and law enforcement markets. The company is a leader in weapon-mounted technology and offers a variety of firearm accessories, including green and red laser sights, LED weapon-mounted illuminators and a line of TacLoc Holsters. Viridian products are designed and built in the USA.
