Building on the success of the company's line of high-speed, easy-use rifle-magazine loaders, MagPump announced the launch of its new 9 mm Magazine Loader, designed to cut down magazine reloading times by more than 50 percent.

“All of our magazine loaders greatly benefit military personnel, law enforcement, shooting competitors, and gun enthusiasts," said Garret Armstrong, MagPump chief marketing officer. "MagPump is an effective tool that easily, quickly and properly loads magazines."

In addition to the increased reloading time, the MagPump reloading system also allows for extended range sessions and more training rounds fired, since it reduces the thumb stress and hand fatigue that often comes with reloading pistol magazines by hand. This fatigue can lead to decreased performance on the range, hindering the growth of a shooter's personal-defense skills.

Two models of the MagPump 9 mm Magazine Loader are available starting in 2018, a base model made from injection-molded polymer and the company's Elite model. The Elite series MagPump magazine loaders are made from high-strength, durable 6061-T6 aluminum billet and comes with an anodized black finish for added ruggedness.

Each MagPump 9 mm magazine loader is made in the USA and uses a 50-round hopper that holds a repository of ready-to-load range ammo. In addition, the loader ships with six separate retainers to allow for use across a wide range of magazine types. The loader is also designed with several incorporated safeties that prevent damage to the ammunition.

The MagPump 9 mm Magazine Loader is compatible with the following pistol magazines:

  • SIG Sauer: P320, P224, P226, P228, P229, P250, SP2022, 2340 and 2009
  • Glock: G17, G17L, G19, G26 and G34
  • Springfield Armory: XD and XD Mod.2 double-stack magazines
  • Smith & Wesson: M&P 9 mm double-stack magazines
  • CZ USA: P10
  • Ruger: SR9, SR9c, 9E

The suggested retail price on the MagPump 9 mm Magazine Loader starts at $149.99. The company also has models available to reload AR-15 and AK-47 magazines.
