Wilson Combat, known for its collection of high-end custom 1911 pistols and the Golden Bullseye-winning Beretta 92G, announced for the first time that it would be providing custom upgrades and enhancements for Glock pistols, incorporating a number of high-quality finishes and improvements that the company uses on its 1911 designs.

The line of performance-enhancing upgrades offered for Glock handguns was meticulously thought through by Wilson Combat's team of highly experienced gunsmiths. The company's enhancements are designed to provide performance improvements, and every modification offered is aimed at heightening the capabilities of any Glock Gen 3 or 4 handgun.

To take advantage of the company's experience in firearm customization, Glock owners must order at least $100 worth of work from the company. Wilson Combat offers an à la carte selection of upgrade choices, all separated into individual categories: finishes, markings, frame options, sights, slide/barrel options, trigger options and miscellaneous.

Finish options are available for all generations of Glock handguns, and the company's Armor-Tuff and Combat-Tuff coatings are available in several different color options, including burnt bronze, black, gray, green, federal brown and flat dark earth. Prices start at $75 for an oxidized slide and end at $350 for a full Combat-Tuff finish treatment on the entire pistol.

For the frame, Wilson Combat offers its Starburst-pattern stippling for both Gen 3 and Gen 4 pistols. The cost for the stippling is $139. Other frame options are also available from the company, such as stippled thumb pads, high-cut trigger guards, oversized slide stop, extended magazine release, speed chutes and other options.

For the slide and barrel, the company offers to cut forward cocking serrations, as well as slide-top serrations and a flared ejection port. Fluting and beveling options are also offered on the chamber and slide, and the company offers a custom Wilson Combat barrels for the G17, G19, G34, G22 and G21. The cost of installing a new barrel is $200.

Wilson Combat also paired up with industry partners, like Apex Tactical Specialties, to offer custom trigger options for Glock handguns. To have a new trigger installed in a gun, the company charges $150, including the trigger, for total installation.

Other options are available from the company, and every enhancement works to produce a better-performing pistol for the end user. For more information, visit the Wilson Combat website.
