Kahr Arms announced the addition of four new pistol models to its lineup in 2017, each model featuring a Kryptek camo finish, along with an Armor-Black Cerakote slide. The finish was inspired by the popularity of the company's limited-edition Desert Eagle models offered with a Kryptek finish in May 2015.

The company will offer its Kryptek finish on pistols in Kahr's Value Series of handguns, and all of the options are ideal for concealed-carry use. All four guns are finished using a water-transfer method that coats the frames in the Kryptek finish. According to the company, the method has been proven to withstand hard use.

The slides are also finished with durable Cerakote finishes, along with the trigger and slide-stop lever. Other shared features between all four guns include a trigger-lock DAO action, a locked breech, Browning-style recoil lug and a passive striker block. None of the guns are equipped with magazine-disconnect safeties.

The first of the new offerings is the CW9, which is chambered in 9 mm and uses a 3.5-inch barrel that features traditional rifling. The overall length and height of the gun is 5.9 inches and 4.5 inches, respectively. The gun features drift-adjustable 2-dot sights at the rear of the slide and a pinned polymer front white-dot sight. The total capacity is 7+1, and the suggested retail price is $495.

The company also offers its CM9 in the new lineup, incorporating many of the same features as the CW9, with the exception that it features a 3-inch barrel and an overall length and height of 5.4 inches and 4 inches, respectively. The suggested retail price on the Kryptek CM9 is $499.

Kahr also offers the CT9 and the .380-ACP-chambered CW380 in the Kryptek finish. The CT9 features many of the same qualities as the CW9 and the CM9, including the DAO action, locked-breech mechanism, passive striker block and Cerakote-finished slide. However, the CT9 features a 4-inch barrel with an overall length and height of 6.5 inches and 5.08 inches, respectively. The suggested retail price on the CT9 is $477.

The CW380 is one of the smallest offerings in the Kahr lineup, using a 2.58-inch barrel with an overall size of 5 inches long and 3.9 inches high. The .380-ACP-chambered gun also features an incredibly thin slide, measuring just 0.75 inches in width. The total capacity of the gun is 7+1, and it features a 7-pound trigger pull. The gun ships with one magazine and retails at a suggested price of $439.
