Ruger added a number of AI-style magazines to its accessories lineup in 2017, offering compatible magazine options that fit the Precision Rifle, the Gunsite Scout and many rifle options that feature AI-style bottom-metal assemblies.

The new magazines are genuine factory accessories from Ruger and are constructed with 50-percent glass-filled nylon for increased strength and durability. The magazines use corrosion-resistant stainless-steel springs, along with dust covers to protect loaded rounds during transportation.

Magazines are available for Precision Rifles chambered in .308 Win. in both five-round and 10-round capacities. Ruger also offers magazines for .223 Rem.-chambered rifles that feature a 10-round capacity. The .308-Win. magazines are also compatible with 6.5 Creedmoor and other cartridges similarly sized to the .308 Win. cartridge. The .223-Rem. magazine will allow for a maximum cartridge overall length of 2.5 inches.

The company is also offering a 3-round flush-fit .308-Win. magazine that gives shooters a near-flush fit option for the Ruger Gunsite Scout and other sporter rifles with AI-style magazine wells.
