SureFire added a new Combatlight flashlight model to its lineup, incorporating the company's innovative MaxVision Beam technology into the new version.

The SureFire Combatlight G2Z uses a proprietary reflector inside of the light that directs the light into a wide beam that easily illuminates a user's surroundings. The light features a maximum output of 650 lumens and uses a redesigned bezel to provide a shorter and lighter unit for field use.

The light is constructed using a Nitrolon body that is impervious to corrosion and incorporates the company's CombatGrip design. The design reduces the diameter of the light in the middle of the body, along with a rubberized grip ring that encourages a secure grip in wet and cold conditions. The redesigned body also promotes use with paired flashlight-handgun techniques, as well as use with gloved hands.

The Combatlight uses an on/off tailcap that allows for easy activation. Users can also incorporate the included lanyard to allow for hand manipulation while also retaining the flashlight. The light measures in at a total length of 4.75 inches and features a bezel diameter of 1.1 inches. The light features a single high-output setting of 650 lumens, more than double the previous model. It features a total runtime of two hours.

The suggested retail price of the SureFire Combatlight G2Z is $120.99.
