Viridian announced the arrival of the company's new line of tactical light and laser accessories designed specifically for the Ruger LCP II. The line features three new models that provide red and green lasers, as well as a tactical light.

The Viridian Green Laser Sight is an easy-install design that molds to the trigger guard of the new pistol. The unit weighs just .78 ounces and features the company's Instant On activation system. Combined with Viridian's ECR holster, a small magnet keeps the laser deactivated until the pistol is drawn. Once out of the holster, the laser automatically activates.

The laser housing is made from thermomolded polymer and contains a 5 milli-watt green laser that provides targeting capability of up to 100 yards in daytime and 2 miles at night. The laser features a batter life of 1 hour and also comes with a low battery indicator. The laser can be set in both constant-on and pulse modes.

A red laser model is also available and features the same construction as the green laser model. However, sighting capability is slightly diminished, providing 25 yards of effective targeting in daylight and 1 mile at night. However, battery life is greatly improved. The constant-on setting features a 6-hour battery life, while the pulse mode provides a battery life of 12 hours.

Finally, Viridian offers its Taclight model for the LCP II. The Taclight uses the same housing as the company's laser systems and provides 100 lumens of light in the constant-on mode and 140 lumens of light in strobe. The battery life of the Viridian Taclight is approximately 1 hour.

The suggested retail price for the Viridian green and red laser systems is $239 and $149, respectively, while the Taclight model retails at a suggested price of $119.
