Federal Premium announced the addition of Federal .22 LR Range and Field loads in bulk packs for consumers, adding another option to the company's rimfire line.

The bulk packs come with 275 rounds and are available for both hunting and shooting. The target load features a 40-grain lead bullet designed for target use, while the field round uses a 38-grain copper-plated hollow-point bullet suited for use on varmints and small game.

Each load is designed to perform identically on the range, so shooters can practice with the company's target load and hunt with the small-game load and not worry about a shifting zero. Federal also claims that it has improved manufacturing processes to enhance the accuracy of its rimfire rounds.

The 40-grain range load retails at a suggested price of $20.95 for a box of 275 rounds, while the field load retails for $22.95 for a box of 275.
