Inland Manufacturing is known for its line of reproduction M1 Carbines, modern-day models that feature the same look, feel and function as the original M1 Carbines that rolled off the assembly line during WWII. Now, the company is bringing the M1 Carbine platform forward into the 21st century with the introduction of the new Inland M30-P pistol.

The Inland M30-P pistol is built on the same receiver and shoots the same standard .30 Carbine ammunition used by the company's WWII reproductions. However, these two features are about the only thing in common between the 1940s-style guns and the M30-P.

The company replaced the classic wooden stock with a a Sage International EBR aluminum chassis that features a mil-spec, hard-anodized black finish. The chassis's forend features a top rail that allows for the attachment of long-relief optics and red dots. Iron sights are furnished with the gun, providing users with an M1-style sight picture with an adjustable ghost-ring rear aperture.

The chassis-style stock also features an opening at the rear that allows for the attachment of an AR-style buffer tube. The pistol ships with a Gear Head Works Tailhook Mod 2 arm brace that legally classifies the gun as a pistol instead of a short-barreled rifle. The brace operates with a fold-out hook that secures the gun into an intuitive, one-handed position.

The Inland M30-P pistol is built with a 12-inch barrel that features a 1/2-28 TPI threaded muzzle that allows for the attachment of compatible muzzle devices or sound suppressors. A thread protector is included for use without attachments. The gun also features an Ergo Sure Grip that accommodates the one-handed position typically used when shooting a pistol of this size.

The overall length of the Inland M30-P pistol is 29.375 inches including the pistol brace. Without the brace, the entire gun measures only 20.25 inches long. Weight with the attached Gear Head Works Tailhook brace is 5.5 pounds. Without the brace, the gun weighs in at 4.5 pounds.

One 10-round magazine is included with the pistol, though the company ensures buyers that the gun will feed from higher-capacity magazines designed to fit the M1 Carbine platform. The suggested retail price on the Inland M30-P pistol is $1,699.
