Sometime soon, the millionth 4x32 ACOG, which was conceptualized about 30 years ago, will roll out of the Trijicon factory. In an industry where advancing technology renders many optics obsolete before they hit the store shelves, it’s a milestone worth celebrating.

That fact hasn’t escaped the company’s notice, and it’s holding a series of giveaways to commemorate the event. The grand-prize winner in the sweepstakes will be announced Oct. 26. That gives you a few more days to enter, and it’s free, but if your name isn’t among the list of winners, you can still take one home at a $150 savings, provided it's bought before the end of October 2017.

From Oct. 1 to Oct. 31, anyone who purchases any ACOG model from a participating retailer is eligible for a $150 mail-in rebate. Simply mail in the form, include the dated receipt and UPC code from the packaging, and in six-to-eight weeks, a MasterCard prepaid card for $150 will arrive in the mail. The fact that this is the first Trijicon ACOG rebate ever offered—in three decades—says a lot about the optic’s longevity and continuing popularity.

Since adoption by the U.S. military, the ACOG’s performance has become a well-respected optic by professionals and shooters across the world. The same advantages that make it an invaluable asset in the global war on terror, also make it an ideal home-defense solution, and that fact hasn’t escaped the notice of hundreds of law-abiding citizens who have one riding atop their long arm.

Rugged construction capable of surviving the inhospitable conditions overseas and uncompromising performance are two of the reasons users of the optic today include the U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Army, United States Special Operations Forces, a variety of government agencies, state and local law enforcement and many of our nation’s allies.
