Opened in 2013 and based in Los Angeles, CA, Xtreme Precision produces parts for AR-platform rifles, including several spare parts kits that every AR owner should have in their collection.

First, the 5.56 Spare Parts Set for 5.56/223 features two safety springs, two buffer retainers, two buffer retainer springs, two selector detents, four takedown pin/pivot pin detents and two early-style solid firing pin retainers. All of these parts are easily lost or can be worn out, so it’s worth having an extra few on hand.

Those who know the AR platform are aware of numerous other small pins and springs that can be easily lost or damaged during a build. Xtreme Precision also has a kit for those easy-to-lose pieces that can be a pain to track down.

The AR-15 Easily Lost Parts Set includes two buffer retainers w/springs, two safety detents w/springs, 4 pivot/takedown detents w/springs, firing pin retainer pin, early-style firing pin retainer, two extractor pins, two extractor springs w/insert and o-ring, two ejectors w/springs and roll pins, two bolt catch plungers w/spring and roll pins and six bolt gas rings.

All of the parts kits sold by Xtreme Precision are made in the USA and CNC machined from Mil Spec steel that is hardened and plated.

The Easily Lost Parts Set retails for $21.99, while the 5.56 Spare Parts Set sells for $12.99.
