SureFire, LLC has launched the company's new M600IB Intellibeam ScoutLight. The revolutionary M600IB utilizes SureFire’s proprietary IntelliBeam Technology—a sensor- and microprocessor-based system that continuously evaluates the environment where the beam is aimed—to automatically adjust the light output to the optimal level, anywhere between 100 and 600 lumens.
So, the user will get just the right amount of light for the task at hand, based on surroundings. Inside, in close quarters, less light is produced, eliminating light splashing back that could cause temporary disorientation. Outside, or at longer distances, maximum output is provided.
Runtime is listed as 5 hours at low power and 1.5 hours on high, and the M600IB runs on two CR123 batteries. MSRP: $299.
