One of Crimson Trace's newest laser offerings is specifically engineered to work with the Honor Defense Honor Guard subcompact 9 mm handgun.

“The Honor Guard 9mm pistol line already incorporates more features than any competitor’s models, and consumers expect similar top-quality accessories like Crimson Trace’s Laserguard to be installed,” said Gary Ramey, president of Honor Defense. “This year, Honor Defense is excited to launch Crimson Trace equipped pistols as well as offer those laser sights as an accessory. Honor Defense stands for better quality and Made in the USA, and we are excited about our partnership with Crimson Trace.”

The LG-498 Laserguard for the Honor Guard is integrated into the trigger guard of the handgun and features Crimson Trace's patented Instinctive Activation technology. This technology allows the user to activate the laser with a simple squeeze of the grip, ensuring a solid firing grip during activation. The LG-498 requires no gunsmithing for installation.

The Laserguard is made from black polymer and runs off either one 1/3N lithium or two 357 silver oxide batteries for a constant-on life of more than four hours. The laser is adjustable for windage and elevation and retails at a suggested price of $229.
