Ergo Grips, known for its line of AR-15 furniture, has a number of rail cover options to cover unused portions of a rifle's quad rail.

The company's Ladder-Style Low-Pro Rail Cover is designed to protect shooters' hands from uncovered rails as well as prevent gear from hanging up in Picatinny rail slots. The covers are designed from Santoprene, a rubber-like material, and they clip directly onto an empty rail. The ladder-style rails are available in multiple color options, and come in 7-slot, 18-slot and 25-slot lengths.

Ergo Grips also offers its Textured Slim Line Rail Covers, which are also made from Santoprene to provided a rubbery grip surface for improved purchase. The slim line rail covers fully cover the outside of an empty Picatinny rail, and they feature indentations on the underside of the cover in order to lock into Picatinny rail slots. These 6.8-inch rails are only available in black, olive drab and flat dark earth and can be trimmed to a user's desired length.

Finally, the company offers a Full Long Textured Rail Cover, which comes in a two-piece set. These covers are made from polymer and feature a molded, textured surface to provide extra gripping area on an AR fore end. These covers are 6.125 inches in length and feature a locking tab at the end that uses a single rail slot to lock into position. These rail covers are available in black, olive drab and flat dark earth.

The ladder-style rail covers retail at $11.75 for a single pack. The textured Slim Line rails are sold for $34, while the textured polymer rail cover sells for $11 per two-piece set.
