Whether you're in a competitive setting, a training course or just practicing, speeding up your reloading is one way to stay in the fight. Flared magazine wells have been a staple of handgun modifications for many years, and Lancer Systems is now adapting the idea to the AR-15 rifle.

Constructed of 6061 T6 aluminum and designed to fit all milspec AR-15 lower receivers, the adaptive magwell fits on over the existing magazine well to offer a generous, flared extension designed to quickly funnel a fresh magazine into the well. Drop the depleted magazine, bring the fresh magazine up and let the flare guide it home. The only thing standing in the way of a lightning-fast reload now is your manual dexterity (and here's where your humble host looks dejectedly at the floor...)

Obviously, the greatest gadgets and gizmos are no replacement for practice, practice, practice, but it certainly doesn't hurt. Fine motor skills have a tendency to go out the window under stress, so anything that helps you along under stress can only be a good thing.

MSRP: $99.99.
