Temperatures and muzzles were as hot as the competition. With rifles by ArmaLite and FNH, pistols by FNH and optics by Trijicon, competitors adapted to each stage’s equipment. Competitors prepare for the fast action of the NRA Bianchi Cup stage. Both professional and amateur shooters were challenged by the sheer number and types of stages. On the 3-gun stage, competitors had to shoot pistol, shotgun, and rifle-even in unconventional positions. In the F-class stage, competitors were given four sighting shots at the 500-yard targets. A Navy Seabee exhibits the proper prone position in F-class competition.
