Hornady's new Critical Duty line of ammunition was specifically designed for law enforcement use. What does this mean? It means the bullets were engineered to be able to pass through intermediate barriers—like wallboard and auto glass—and still deliver expansion and reasonable terminal performance. Expansion is a bit less than what you will see from Hornady Critical Duty loads, but penetration is deep.
