The Speer GoldDot line of ammunition has established a stellar performance record. These bullets always expand, even when passing through common intermediate barriers. The 90-grain GoldDot load for the .380 ACP expanded to a pretty amazing .55 inch. Recoil was manageable from the diminutive Smith & Wesson Bodyguard semi-automatic, and function was flawless. Speer should not be embarrassed by the terminal performance of this .380 ACP load. I'd rate it tops for the caliber based on the testing I've conducted.
