Winchester's Silvertip load for the .380 ACP is a good performer, especially considering its low velocity. Of the terminal performance testing I've conducted on 14 different .380 ACP loads, the Winchester Silvertip had the slowest velocity, but still out-penetrated more than half the loads and expanded wider than five of them in 10-percent ballistic gelatin.
