Remington's +P version of this load was previously tested and generates about 50 to 75 fps more velocity than the standard-pressure variant examined here. The +P load also expands to a wider frontal diameter. The standard-pressure load is a bit easier to control from lighter handguns like my Colt Lightweight Commander, and it provides very deep penetration due to the decreased expansion. This would be a good load for anyone expecting to shoot through barriers or those without over-penetration concerns.
