The new 655 TOPS/Buck Short Nighthawk fixed-blade meets the old challenge, "Where failure is not an option," with flying colors. Rugged, reliable and durable, this tactical/survival knife is designed to meet the need when emergency situations arise.

The Short Nighthawk has a 4-7/8" full-tang, modified clip blade, 0.235" thick for rugged use. It's made of 420HC stainless steel, hardened to Rc 58 for maximum performance. The blade has a black-oxide coating and also features an oxygen wrench and utility notches. Overall, it is 10-3/8"long and weighs 9.4 oz.

The ergonomically shaped handle is a black, reinforced molded nylon with a Dynaflex® rubber non-slip grip. It comes with a heavy-duty black nylon M.O.L.L.E.-compatible sheath with a front carry pouch. The Model 655 Short Nighthawk is made in America and, like all Buck knives, it's backed by Buck's no-nonsense Forever Warranty. MSRP, $95.
