To celebrate Oct. 22, 2016, Ruger is sponsoring a sweepstakes to give away 10 Ruger 10/22 Takedown rifles.

To be entered for a chance to win, all contestants have to do is purchase any item from Ruger's online store. Once an item is bought, the buyer is automatically entered into the drawing. Ruger customers must make a purchase between Oct. 20 and Oct. 23 to be entered. Entrants must be legal residents of the USA, must be at least 18 years of age and must be able to legally possess a firearm.

The Ruger 10/22 Takedown is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .22 LR. The rifle features a black synthetic stock that splits apart just ahead of the receiver. The easy takedown functionality allows the barrel to be separated from the stock and receiver, enabling users to easily store and transport the rifle. Simply lock the bolt back, push a recessed lever and twist the two assemblies to pull the components apart.

The suggested retail price on the Ruger 10/22 Takedown is $439.
