Browning introduced an upgraded Target X-Bolt rifle for 2017, adding a McMillan A3-5 stock with adjustable comb and a 28-inch fluted bull barrel with a muzzle brake. The rifle features a matte-blued receiver that is glass-bedded and drilled and tapped for scope mounts. The rifle comes with a muzzle brake mounted on 5/8-24 TPI threads, which are compatible with a number of suppressors on the market. A thread protector is also included with the rifle. The rifle is available in 14 different calibers, and the suggested retail price starts at $2,799.99.
